Christmas is just a few hours away and Malaysians once again share with Christian friends and their families their joyous moments.

To all my friends and loyal readers of the Christian faith, my wife and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Being Christians, it teaches you to do good on to yourself and towards others, and let us hope that all Malaysians of the Christian faith sets themselves a fine example of what a Malaysian ought to be.

Dato, during my school going teenage days, although myself, some Malay,Chinese and Indians friends are not Christians we followed our Christian friends to church on Christmas eve for midnight mass. And Hari Raya,Chinese New Year and Depavali are all the same.We go over to their homes and our friends come over.

Since we are of about the same age,and of the same era,I guess we are of about the same mentality. We celebtate everything. So I take this oppurtunity to wish Dato and wife a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year too.

Dato & Datin,
Thank you for your Christmas message. It says loud and clear - there is nothing wrong or unIslamic about greeting and celebrating with each other on our various festive ocassions.

You do your religion proud, and set the standard for all that is fine and honourable in any religion. God bless you always.
